'The purpose of meditation is to awaken in us the sky-like nature of mind, and to introduce us to that which we really are.
What is Meditation
Meditation is a formal practice that trains our mind to stay focussed in the present moment. When your whole life is driven by doing a formal meditation practice can provide a refuge of stability that can be used to restore balance and perspective. It is a way of stopping and giving yourself some time to dwell in a state of deep relaxation and well being and to remember who you are. With a regular meditation practice we can learn to recognize and let go of distracting thoughts and emotions and experience clarity and peace.
